CLINGFILM AFTERCARE

After your session, the tattoo artist will apply a small amount of tattoo butter and wrap your tattoo with cling film. You can keep the clingfilm on for maximum 3 hours.
After that follow these steps:

1.

Wash your hands with warm soapy water.

2.

Carefully remove the film and wash the tattoo gently with a natural soap and warm water.
DO NOT SOAK the tattoo otherwise it will scab.

3.

Pat the tattoo dry with kitchen roll (do not use your towel because even If it is clean, It might have bacteria) and apply a very thin layer of cream what we agreed on (eg.: Bepanthen, Hustle Butter...etc.)

4.

Put a new/sterile plastic wrap on the entire tattoo.

Repeat this process every 3-4 hours for 3 days.

After 3 days you don't need to wrap it, just wash it gently with warm soapy water, pat it dry with kitchen roll and moisturize it every 3-4 hours until it’s completely healed (about 3 weeks).

Make sure you always wash your hands first before touching the tattooed area and keep always in mind that it is better to use less cream more often rather than too much but rarely.

Avoid direct sunlight, gym and swimming for the first two weeks of healing.

TATTOO FILM AFTERCARE

After your session, the tattoo artist will apply a small amount of tattoo butter and  a special transparent film. You can keep the film on for 1-2 days.

(If you notice that the film is leaking or broke than you need to remove it and following the 'Clingfilm Aftercare' instructions above.)

Then follow these steps:

1.

To remove the special film is recommended to do it under a warm shower (obviously with clean hands) The warmth will help to loosen the adhesive, making it easier and more comfortable to remove.

2.

After you removed the film, wash the tattoo gently with a natural soap and warm water. DO NOT SOAK the tattoo otherwise it will scab.

3.

Pat the tattoo dry with kitchen roll (do not use your towel because even If it is clean, It might have bacteria) and apply a very thin layer of cream what we agreed on (eg.: Bepanthen, Easy Tattoo, Hustle Butter...etc.)

After that you don't need to cover your tattoo, just wash it gently with warm soapy water, pat it dry with kitchen roll and moisturize it every 3-4 hours until it’s completely healed (about 3 weeks).

Make sure you always wash your hands first before touching  the tattooed area and keep always in mind that it is better to use less cream more often rather than too much but rarely.
